What to Expect?
You will live and work alongside our team of experts and volunteers on the Mapesu Private Game Reserve, where, as a conservation volunteer, you could find yourself:
surveying and species cataloging (including monitoring elephant and rhino populations as well as identifying and recording birds, trees and shrubs) - constructing roads, bridges, fences and dams - assisting with general reserve maintenance - helping to combat poaching - photographing life on the reserve - and so much more ...
A malaria free zone, we are in one of the only areas to be malaria free and have the Big 5 - elephants, buffalo, rhinos, lions, leopards - on show.
